Insolvency disposal of 8.5ha grape farm

The farm’s vehicles, implements, office equipment and other movable assets will also be auctioned as part of the insolvency disposal. Viewing of the movable assets will be August 4 from 10am to 3pm.

Appointments are required to see the farm itself. The 8.5 hectare farm is in the heart of the De Doorns valley and is planted with 5ha of Sugra 19 table grape vineyards.

It is listed for 16 850 of water with the Sanddrif scheme, and has two boreholes, registered for more than 40 000m3 of water. Improvements on site include main and manager’s dwellings; two flats; packing shed; offices; workshop; coldrooms; worker’s accommodation; stores and outbuildings.

The movable assets include Isuzu and Nissan trucks as well as Opel and other Nissan vehicles. Implements such as a weed sprayer; sulphur sprayer; spray pump; grape and water carts; trailers; plastic crates; electronic scales; compressors; welders and a Rolls-Royce 250KVA generator will also be on offer.
