Mzansi is rejoicing after Emmanuel Madonsela made it onto Gordo ft Drake's “Healing” music video.

Madonsela, known on social media for sharing snippets of his life with his family, touched the hearts of many with how dedicated he is to providing for his family.

He shared that while he, his wife and their two daughters wake up early every morning to walk to school/work, they wished he had a car.

Little did he know that his wishes would be fulfilled when Gordo used his story as the official music video for “Healing”.

“About two months ago, while I was scrolling through TikTok, I stumbled upon The Don Madfunz, a guy from South Africa with amazing energy. His taste in music grabbed my attention, but it was his dancing, smile and story that really hooked me," said Gordo in his music video description.

“The Don would walk 9 miles (about 14 kilometres) to work every single day despite the weather or his personal safety … he risked it all for his family … and dreamed one day of his very slow walk being over and finally being able to own a car for himself so he can provide for his family.

“When I was thinking about the ‘Healing’ music video, I couldn’t get Don out of my head... I knew I had to get him involved… so I hit up my friend and director, Theo Skudra, and we decided to make a video following a day in Don’s life.”

And just like that, Madonsela’s life changed for the better and South Africans are happy for him.

“This is proof that social media can really change your life, man. I’m so happy for him and his family. His reaction when he saw the car that they bought for him,” commented @_ShaunKeyz.

Another X user, @nickidabarb_, said: “This is the most heartwarming video ever it’s like God's plan 2.0. I’ve cried so many times. It’s so beautiful.”
