Investec Asset Management would bring in-house the management of two of its European stocks funds, formerly run by Albert Morillo, a high-profile fund manager at BlackRock International, the group said yesterday.
David Aird, the managing director of Investec Fund Managers, said Nigel Hankin and Ben Williams, who were part of the group's 4Factor equity investment team, would take over the Investec European and GSF Continental European funds from the start of next year to meet their clients' needs.
Over the three years to September 29, Investec European has risen 68.8 percent in total return terms, compared with an average 75.1 percent gain among peer funds. - Reuters, London
