Johannesburg - Two more SABC board members were removed on Thursday, the public broadcaster said.

“The SABC board of directors today (Thursday) convened a meeting to conclude the business of the special board meeting that was adjourned on March 12,” the broadcaster said in a statement.

The meeting dealt the alleged fraudulent conduct and non-disclosure of conflict of interest involving certain board members.

“After deliberations by the board it was resolved that Ms (Rachel) Kalidass and Mr M (Ronnie) Lubisi be removed as non-executive directors with effect from 26 March. The decision in this regard has already been communicated to the shareholder.”
