Those who earned R8 800 will now earn R9 300 per month, effective July 1, 2018.

“Employees who are earning between R8 300 and R10 723 per month will receive 7 percent or R700 increases, whichever is greater effective from the 1st of December 2016,” said NUM in a statement.
