DURBAN – British Airways and kulula.com were named Best African Low-Cost Airline and Best African Regional Short-Haul Airline at the Business Traveller Africa Awards.
The awards are held in association with Business Traveller Africa magazine and now in its seventh year, the awards recognize excellence in the South African business travel trade and the broader business travel community.
The winners were selected by members of Association of Southern African Travel Agents (Asata), African Business Travel Association (Abta), and Southern African Association for the Conference Industry (Saaci).
This year voting was also broadened to the wider South African business industry, along with engaging the Southern Africa Tourism Services Association (Satsa) and their members.

The recent awards ceremony, covered all aspects of business travel, including the of hotels, airlines, car rental and travel management.
