@Am_Blujay Someone tell Donald Trump that South Africa is a founding G20 member since 1999, attendance isn’t by invitation, it’s a permanent seat. The US can’t legally “bar” SA from the 2026 summit, but as host it could make life difficult (visas, security, side events). US aid to SA is $600m/yr (mostly Pepar). Farm attacks are real & awful (50–70 murders/yr), but ‘white genocide ’claims have been rejected by every credible court & expert. This is pressure/posturing, not a power the US actually has under G20 rules.

@Colingwesu The sad part, Trump is going to win. African leaders always fight issues in silos. The AU & many other African leaders, i.e the Rutos, Kagames, Hichilemas are going to attend the US G20, instead of standing in solidarity with one of their own. To be fair SA does the same as well.
