RSWM Internship Manager sought

Independent Media has an exciting fixed term contract position for an Internship Manager to manage the Racism Stops With Me (RSWM) Internship programme to be based in Cape Town.

The Job:

Lead and manage a team of young, enthusiastic media and communications interns to create multi media content for the Racism Stops with Me campaign.

Manage a Racism Stops With Me internship project plan including:

* Managing Objectives and Key Results

* Document project activities

* Monitor progress

* Do stakeholder reports

- Manage the project budget

* Deliver on the implementation plan

Create great content for print, digital and on ground to drive the campaign

Minimum Requirements:

We are looking for candidates who are experienced in leading teams with at least 2 years experience as a project manager.

Must be proficient in MS Office

Required Competencies:

We need you to show excellent skills as:

* A leader,

* A coach and/or mentor,

* A problem-solver and creative thinker.

* Great writing, design and product development skills would be an advantage.
