Actress and casting director Nolwazi Shange made an appearance at the Brixton Magistrates’ Court.

Ngubeni, previously appeared before the Brixton Magistrates’ Court in March 2024, facing a staggering array of charges.

The allegations against her include Cyber Forgery, Uttering, Fraud, and Theft, all closely tied to her engagements with Rhythm World Production, Masakhane Casting, and Make Your Art (Pty) Ltd.

The case centres around Ngubeni's employment with Rhythm World, where she was tasked with recruiting talent for various productions. However, the prosecution claims that instead of forwarding the payments made to her for these services, Ngubeni unlawfully appropriated the funds for personal gain.

She was released on R5000 bail and the case has been postponed to September 26, 2025, allowing further investigations to take place.

A case was opened against the former "Scandal!" actress last year after she was accused of stealing R700 000 from the "Queen Modjadji" production.

The Safta award-winning actress is known for her roles; as Nandi on Showmax, "Outlaws" and as Mbali on "Scandal!".
