Bonang Matheba and Tebogo "Pinky Girl" Mekgwe, one of Mzansi's favourite cousin duo seems to be back in each other's lives publicly

Mzansi media personality Bonang Matheba celebrated her birthday with an intimate family dinner. 

Her guests included her close friends such as Sefiso Hlongwane, Thulane “Toolz” Hadebe, Jerry Deeuw, Karen Mthethwa, and her cousin Tebogo 'Pinky Girl' Mekgwe.

Mekgwe and Matheba were known to the public as having a very close relationship, but like any relationship, they have had their ups and downs.

Pinky Girl posted moments from the dinner on her Instagram Stories, allowing her fans into the celebrations.

In recent years, the two have not been seen in public together following their fallout in 2023, but it seems the cousins are back in each other's lives. Blood is thicker than water.

The cousins threw jabs at each other online. Mekgwe was dropped from the reality show, which sparked online speculations with fans wanting to know what happened between the duo.

However, the model and DJ explained that the fallout between them was not as deep as the public perceived.

She appeared on the “Reason TV” podcast, and the host, Troy Malenge, asked her to explain what happened between her and Matheba.

She simply answered, “Yooh, nothing happened, you know. I went through a lot of emotions in 2023."

For her celebrations, Matheba also dropped new pictures, a high-end editorial photoshoot, and a vlog, much to the delight of her fans.
