Nigerian artist Davido pays homage to South Africa with his Hollyandroo custom made biker jacket.

Fans are not the only ones still raving about the night Amapiano pioneers DJ Maphorisa and Kabza de Small brought Loftus Stadium alive with a star-studded line-up on August 29.
Nigerian sensation Davido, who was revealed as the international surprise act, gave a captivating performance and left many talking about not only his performance, but his distinctive wardrobe too.
He took to his social media to express his excitement about performing in South Africa and called it “home”.
“South Africa has always been home since the first day! Thank you for always showing love, Konke lokhu ngikwenzela nina (I do all of this for you) Pretoriaaaa, you did a wild one this time!”
The “With You” hitmaker paid homage to Mzansi by rocking a custom-made biker jacket adorned with the South African flag, which was designed by US-based Liberian-Sierra Leonean designer Hollyandroo.
The stunning jacket retails for $425, which amounts to over R7 000. The designer is known for his creation of African-inspired jackets that pay homage to the different countries and pay homage to their rich history.
Many fans praised the Grammy award-winning singer for his representation of the country. Additionally, both the designer and Davido gifted staff members at the Loftus Stadium with the stylish jackets.
The "Scorpion Kings Live with Friends" event saw almost 50 000 attendees and has become one that is now embedded in the memories of thousands of Amapiano fans who witnessed the stellar performances from some of the genre’s heavyweights.
The event was broken down into two segments, where they had a pre-show during the day, which featured artists like Blxckie, Christos, DBN Gogo, Dihno, Dlala Thukzin, Venom and Vinny Da Vinci.
The main stage kicked off with DJ Maphorisa’s mother’s heartfelt opening prayer, and fans were entertained by amapiano stars, including Ami Faku, Aymos, Bontle Smith, Cassper Nyovest, Daliwonga, Kamo Mphela and Mafikizolo, to name a few.
