Kefilwe Mabote confirms she tied the knot in August, prioritising privacy in her marriage

In all her posts, she turned off the comments, but that hasn't stopped the public from weighing in on her decision to hide her husband’s identity. 

Mabote has been married multiple times and has avoided making the details of her past relationships public. 

Mabote previously had shared lobola cows on her page, sparking speculation about her marital journey. However, details about her previous marriage remain unclear, with speculation rife that it was a content moment.

It is alleged she staged a photo shoot, hired the cows and got a jaw-dropping gown from Gert-Johan Coetzee for lobola negotiations that never happened. Mabote has since deleted all the pictures and videos of the lobola in question.

Earlier this year Mabote publicly declared her faith, denouncing her love of luxury labels and called out rich men in her DMs.

Her videos and snaps showed the luxury influencer signing her marriage certificate, but in her posts, she kept her husband out of the prying eyes of her followers.

Mabote's public relations agency, Alfa Destiny, stated to IOL following queries, confirming that the author has indeed tied the knot, adding that she would like to keep the matter private and sacred to her family.
