1. Summer Walker criticised for 30-minute performance

American singer Summer Walker had fans excited as she was revealed as one of the international acts of the “In The City” concert in Pretoria.

But what was initially supposed to be an hour-long performance turned into a short-lived 30-minute show.

However, the "Heart Of A Woman" hitmaker explained on social media that the event’s promoter was at fault.

“@steynent, as the promoter of the event refused to pay the JOC, it messed up the whole show even though we were early. Love you guys, until next time,” she wrote.

2. Dolly Parton fans rally after sister Freida's emotional health update

Fans of the beloved country music icon have joined her family's concern as the 79-year-old star faces health issues that have led to the postponement of her highly anticipated Las Vegas residency.

Dolly’s sister, Freida Parton, recently took to social media to share a heartfelt plea for prayers.

She wrote: "Last night, I was up all night praying for my sister, Dolly. Many of you know she hasn’t been feeling her best lately. I truly believe in the power of prayer, and I have been led to ask all of the world that loves her to be prayer warriors and pray with me."

3. Gunna to perform in South Africa next year

American rapper Gunna is returning to SA in 2026 as a part of his world tour.

He will be headlining the "Milk and Cookies" festival, alongside fellow international artist Kaytranada.

The event is set to take place in Cape Town and Johannesburg in January.

4. “Blood & Water” actress Khosi Ngema announces pregnancy

The “Blood & Water” star has joined this year’s baby boom list as she shared that she is expecting her first child with her partner, Marco Benz.

Her pregnancy news comes after she announced her engagement early this year, a few months after her social media hiatus.

5. Slee Ndlovu celebrates love with her husband

Reality TV star Slee Ndlovu stunned fans after revealing that she is married as she shared a touching tribute dedicated to her husband, Archie Masebe.

She wrote that her biggest flex is being Masebe’s wife and even called him “an answered prayer".

6. Kanye West's “betrayal list” starts a rib-tickling trend

Controversial American rapper Kanye West created a betrayal list on the internet, which included his daughter, North West, and his ex-wife, Kim Kardashian.

Others on the list were Sean "Diddy" Combs, Kid Cudi and others.

The list soon became a viral trend on social media as people started creating their own versions and turning it into a comedic trend.

7. Porsha Williams' interesting dating life

During her appearance at CultureCon, “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” star Porsha Williams shocked the internet by revealing that she is dating a man and a woman after her divorce from Simon Guobadia.

She shared: “The people who I’m talking to now, it’s just two. I narrowed it down to two, and he is nice and she is nice.”

8. A-Reece and Emtee’s social media beef

A-Reece’s fans, “The Slimes”, sparked a debate online after they questioned Emtee about why he did not promote A-Reece’s new album.

9. Michael Wentink dies at 46

Michael Wentink, a renowned South African Latin American dancer, choreographer, and television personality, passed away at the age of 46.

His long-time dance partner, Ralf Lepehne, confirmed his passing and wrote on Instagram: “With the heaviest of hearts, we share the sad news that our beloved Michael Wentink has passed away. He left us far too soon, and the loss is immeasurable.

“To the world, Michael was a true legend of Latin dance - a champion, an artist and an inspiration to so many. Yet behind the trophies and the spotlight was the man we knew and loved, a kind soul whose light touched our lives deeply."

10. Tyra Banks shocks the internet with new hot ice cream

American media personality and model, Tyra revealed her new odd “drinkable and hot ice cream” at her Australian shop, SMiZE & Dream.

She revealed that it took over an entire year to get the entire concept right, but this new drink did not get a positive reception from online users.

Many were left unimpressed as they revealed that they are confused about this concept, while others simply said that celebrities might just have too much time on their hands.
