If you say you love Tyla, put her in Chanel, as the lyrics go, because the Grammy-winning star is hinting at new music, and it could come with visuals, at least that’s what fans are hoping for.
The “Mr Media” hitmaker recently took to Instagram to share what the internet calls a “photo dump” of moments from earlier this year when she was shooting what looks like will be the music video for her highly anticipated single “Chanel”.
In some of the shared pictures, Tyla is draped up in Chanel, rocking a vintage three-piece suit as she added her own flair with a grey Chanel beanie, finishing off the look with Chanel jewellery.
Tyla has been teasing the song in snippets for months, with fans begging her to drop it. She recently posted a clip of models Anok Yai and Alton Mason jamming to the track, and the reaction online was instant.
She also previewed the song at Global Citizen before coming out to perform, where visuals played on the big screen as her dancers moved to the beat.
Adding to the excitement, Tyla’s mother joined in on the fun, posting a video of herself lip-syncing to “Chanel” on TikTok.
Fans could not get enough, flooding the comments with heart emojis and excitement that even her mom is teasing the song.
Previously, she celebrated the launch of her “We Wanna Party” mixtape in London and Berlin ahead of its release and revealed the songs that would be featured. “Chanel” was one of them, but it ultimately didn’t make the final track list.
It seems fans will finally be getting the song they have been waiting for, and if Tyla’s hints are anything to go by, “Chanel” might be arriving in full fashion.
Tyla’s connection with Chanel runs deep. Over the past year, she has cemented herself as both a music and fashion powerhouse, often turning heads in Chanel looks that balance classic elegance with a youthful edge.
Her front-row debut at the Chanel runway show earlier this year marked a major fashion moment.
She reimagined the brand’s iconic tweed suit in true Tyla style with a bold, modern twist, a strapless top, micro-mini skirt and a cropped jacket. It was a confident nod to the fashion house’s legacy while keeping it distinctly Tyla.
She’s since become known for her Chanel moments, from her Barbie pink suit that had social media buzzing to her headline-grabbing Chanel minidress at the 2025 MTV VMAs.
Styled by Ron Hartleben, the vintage corset-turned-minidress was paired with gold medallion necklaces and black heels.
In her own words, Tyla once told "Vogue" that she’s “obsessed with high fashion mixed with street fashion” and admits she’s deep in her Chanel era.
