Grief shows up in different ways, and losing a pet can be just as painful as losing a family member. Kylie Jenner is heartbroken after the passing of her beloved Italian Greyhound, Norman, a dog fans have grown to know throughout her journey in the spotlight.

Norman was a gift from her mother Kris Jenner, after she turned 17, and he became one of her fur best friends.

Kylie took to Instagram to share the sad news and reflected on the bond she shared with Norman. In a heartfelt post, she opened up about how much Norman meant to her and how difficult it is to say goodbye.

With her tribute, the reality star looked back on their moments together. In her emotional message, she recalled the excitement of bringing Norman home, saying she had always wanted an Italian Greyhound growing up and that he instantly became one of the greatest gifts in her life.

“I always wanted an Italian Greyhound growing up, but my mommy never let me have one. Then, right after I turned 17, I got you for Christmas, and it was the best gift I could have ever received,” she wrote.

She also reflected on how much joy he brought to her and everyone around her, and how she knew this moment would come as he got older, but it still hurts to let go.

Kylie also shared that she is grateful her children got the chance to meet Norman and love him too.

“I wish I wasn’t writing this post. I knew you were getting older, and I tried to prepare myself, but it’s hard losing you norm. It makes me happy knowing my kids got to meet you and love you my sweet Normyyyy. My heart aches for you. Rest in peace, my precious Normandle. I love you forever,” she concluded.

She also shared a touching moment of her 7-year-old daughter Stormi Webster, playing with Norman, showing the bond he formed with Kylie’s children.

Norman was often seen on Kylie’s social media over the years, becoming familiar to fans of “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” and Kylie’s online audience. Many remember how close she was to her dogs, especially Norman.

The comment section of her post has been filled with love and sympathy from fans, friends, and industry peers including Justin Sky who was seemingly heartbroken over the news, commenting: “Nooooo! Norman 💔😭”.
