Usimamane’s ‘Dangerous II’ with Rick Ross to drop on Wednesday

Usimamane is taking South African hip-hop to new heights.
The Umlazi-born rapper has announced that the deluxe edition of his album "20th: Days Before Maud" will be released on Wednesday, featuring a major collaboration with American rap star Rick Ross on the track:"DANGEROUS II".
His rise in the music industry has been nothing short of impressive.
On top of the big album news, Usimamane also celebrated a huge milestone with his hit song "Uvalo" which has officially reached 3 million views on YouTube.
Sharing his excitement on Instagram, he wrote: “100K Subs on YouTube. Uvalo Video 3M Views. THANK YOU! DANGEROUS II WITH MY BIG BROTHER @richforever OUT WEDNESDAY 2/19.”
Usimamane, (real name Omuhleumnguni Simamane) gained initial recognition through his feature on Tony Dayimane's track "Ifilimu."
He rose to prominence with his 2024 single "Cheque," which achieved triple platinum status in South Africa.
His debut album, "20th: Days Before Maud", released in September 2024, broke records for the highest second-day streams in South Africa on Spotify.
The song "Uvalo," featuring Sjava, debuted at number four and reached number one on local streaming charts.
In June 2024, Apple Music named Usimamane as the featured artist for Rap Life Africa, highlighting his growing influence in the music scene.
The collaboration with Rick Ross was solidified during the American rapper's visit to Cape Town in January.
Ross, known for hits like "Aston Martin Music," connected with Usimamane to film the music video for "Dangerous II."
In an interview with Apple Music's Nadeska, Usimamane revealed that Ross personally reached out to his team to feature on the song.
At the time, the original version with CaseKlowzed had been completed, but Ross's interest led to a new collaboration that surprised and excited Usimamane.
