So far, big 2025 awards ceremonies and the big fits that come with them have been largely centred on the US. But that's changing with 2025 BAFTAs.

In years gone by, BAFTAs menswear was pretty easy to call. You’d get a lot of very nice classics, like Austin Butler’s ’70s McQueen tuxedo, or Rami Malek’s Zegna all-navy suit. Now, the rules of the red carpet are looser, which welcomes weirder and more left-field menswear (see Tom Daley’s Bethany Williams two-piece from 2022).

Black tie no longer requires a tie, tailoring spans from single-breasted and sharp to ’80s Wall Street cosplay, and the Hollywood brooch fellowship is rapidly recruiting new members. Plus it's an IRL ride-out for some the lovely menswear seen at fashion weeks around the world. So naturally, a swarm of big fits ensue.
