Angola's foreign exchange reserves fell for the first time in three months to $12.1 billion (R90.7bn) last month from $12.8bn the previous month, despite a recovery in oil prices, the central bank said yesterday. The drop in foreign exchange reserves takes place after the central bank announced last month that it would increase the amount of dollars it sold to banks at its daily auctions in a bid to prevent the national currency from depreciating. - Reuters
