Solomon "Carpo’"More is proudly showing off his new look after shedding an impressive 21 kilograms, and let’s just say, the glow-up is glowing.
The South African media personality, comedian, and television figure, who once weighed 105kg, now sits at a lean 84kg, and his confidence says it all.
Sharing his journey, More revealed that his transformation started with one decision that changed his lifestyle completely.
He recently posted a video showing his before-and-after transformation, and fans couldn’t help but celebrate his progress. According to reports, More made drastic changes to his diet to achieve a healthier lifestyle and, of course, that more muscular frame.
These lifestyle changes included cutting out oily and junk foods, replacing them with vegetables, not eating after 7pm, and training daily with his personal trainer.
Working with a personal trainer has been a big part of his success. Trainers help with structure, accountability, and motivation on the tough days. Having someone cheering him on daily made it easier to stay focused and consistent, even when the results weren’t immediate.
More’s fitness journey kicked off in July, all in preparation for Cassper Nyovest’s upcoming Fill Up Toyota Stadium concert taking place on 6 December in Bloemfontein.
The "Fill Up" series, started by Nyovest in 2015 when he made history at The Dome, has become one of South Africa’s most iconic live events. This year’s edition promises another epic night, and More wanted to show up in top form, physically and mentally.
Interestingly, Nyovest has also been on his own fitness mission. The two best friends have been motivating each other to stay disciplined, proving that sometimes, the best workout partner is someone who knows your journey personally.
Research backs this up; exercising with a friend or partner helps improve consistency and performance, while also making workouts more enjoyable. Having someone to share the struggle and celebrate the wins with can make a world of difference.
Beyond the physical transformation, More's journey carries deep emotional meaning. He’s been open about his struggles with mental health, something that’s close to his heart. After losing both his parents, he went through a dark period that almost cost him his life.
“I tried it five times after my parents passed away. I tried hanging myself, cutting myself. I did all those things. Now a big cloud has left me,” he previously shared.
Now, More’s transformation represents more than weight loss; it’s a symbol of healing and resilience.
From battling depression to finding peace through health and discipline, he’s living proof that true strength starts within.
