Miss SA 2025 finale: what to expect from the most anticipated event of the year

We are a few hours away from the highly anticipated Miss SA 2025 finale, and not only are netizens eager to finally see who will win the coveted title, but everyone is also excited to see the entertainment line-up at the event.

The organisation has embarked on a new era with this year’s competition, and while it was a bumpy one at first, it is exciting to see that the event promises a flawless outcome.

As a part of their new era, the organisation has changed the presenters, the organisers, the date of the finale, the designers, as well as the TV channel broadcasting the finale live

This year’s host is Nomalanga “The Flame” Shozi, who has taken over the reins from Bonang Matheba. 

Shozi will be joined on stage by Pamela Mtanga as the co-host. While beauty queen and king, Natasha Vermaak and Dr Fezile Mkhize, will be on the red carpet.

The audience will be captivated by live performances from Langa Mavuso, Karen Zoid, Makhadzi, Demi Lee More, Bucie and Ciza.

“Aweh” hitmaker, lordkez, is also a part of the exciting line-up, while Xolly Mncwango will grace the stage with praise and worship.

The organisation has also introduced the judging panel for the finale, which includes two former Miss SA titleholders, Ndavi Nokeri and Tamaryn Green-Nxumalo.

Actress Cindy Mahlangu is also a judge, joined by broadcast journalist Heidi Giokos and renowned brand strategist, Thebe Ikalafeng.

The Miss SA 2025 Top 9 finalists will grace the runway in the following designers' outfits: Sandi Mazibuku, who will dress the finalists in designs that honour our country’s heritage and cultural diversity, and Khothatso Tsotetsi will dress the finalists in designs that celebrate the power of a woman.

While Londeka Buthelezi-Ndaba is making a comeback with daring silhouettes. Siphosihle Masango is bringing contemporary couture, and Sello Medupe is bringing sophistication.

In addition, David Tlale will show us what timeless glamour and elegance mean with his designs.

The finalists are Bridgett Jones, Gizelle Venske, Ghee-Ann Rademan, Buyisile Mashile, Karabo Mareka, Nthabiseng Kgasi, Qhawekazi Mazaleni, Zanele Phakathi and Luyanda Zuma.

The Miss SA grand finale is scheduled to take place on Saturday, October 25, at Sunbet Arena in Pretoria at 7pm, and it will air on Mzansi Magic (DStv channel 161).
