The Academy Museum of Motion Pictures held its fifth annual gala on Saturday, October 18, at the Academy Museum in Los Angeles to support the museum's educational initiatives, public programming and upcoming exhibitions.
While the important thing was the main event itself, the red carpet is also a highlight of the event as it is a fashion playground where A-list celebs show up and show out with their simple, extraordinary or boundary-pushing looks.

Kim Kardashian
Kim Kardashian left our jaws dropping after she came to the Gala with her face covered and waist snatched. One thing about Kardashian, though, she will sacrifice comfort for a good outfit.
She stunned in a beige Maison Margiela dress that featured a structural sleeveless bodice with detached cape sleeves and a face veil that entirely covered her face.
She paired the look with a silver choker necklace with green stones.

Jenna Ortega
Another Hollywood star that left us stunned is Jenna Ortega, who wore a sculptural metallic leaf that was seemingly hooked around her neck and floating in place over her chest as her entire back was exposed.
She paired the metallic leaf with a maxi burgundy skirt and a pair of rings, as well as a bold eye look.

The Rhode Beauty founder has been serving us lately and stepping out in some of the most stunning looks.
Bieber wore a brown strapless Schiaparelli SS25 dress that featured an enhanced waist mesh trainer that elevated the simple silhouette of the gown.
The dress was adorned with an antique rhinestone brooch, which also cleverly held up the skirt's slit, revealing a glimpse of leg.

Zoë Kravitz stepped out in a chocolate-brown off-the-shoulder Saint Laurent ball gown that featured ruffles that made the look stand out.
Kravitz made the dress the star of the show as she opted not to wear any jewellery or bold make-up.

The singer wore a black leather Saint Laurent gown that featured a sheer lace top. The dress also featured a belt that was tied into a bow, which separated the top of the dress from a simple to a dramatic drop-waist leather ball skirt.

The actress looked elegant in a Louis Vuitton ensemble, showcasing a silk taffeta bustier gown.
The dress featured a distinct dyed-green hue and overstitched pleating, creating a unique effect.
She wore a snake necklace that wrapped around her neck with basic glam and braids.

Regina Hall looked like a ray of sunshine as she wore a stunning yellow Cong Tri dress with the off-the-shoulder neckline and sheer, embellished sleeves design.
