Several Mitchell’s Plain educare centres, primary schools, libraries and child literacy organisations turned the spotlight on the importance of reading last week.
Little Stars Daycare, a registered educare centre in Eastridge celebrated World Read Aloud Day at Tafelsig Library on Wednesday February 5.
On Thursday February 6, reading facilitators from child literacy organisation Nal’ibali visited Imperial Primary in Beacon Valley and Eastville Primary in Eastridge to spread the joy of reading.
