Police have announced a reward of up to R150,000 for any information leading to the arrest and successful prosecution of those responsible for the murder of 41-year-old Zanele Precious Nkosi.
Nkosi, a practising attorney, was fatally shot outside her workplace on Klopper Street in Rustenburg on the afternoon of March 29, 2023.
According to police, the incident occurred around 4:30pm as she was leaving her office in her black Mercedes-Benz.
She was ambushed and sustained multiple gunshot wounds to her upper body and head. The motive behind the killing remains unclear, and the South African Police Service (SAPS) continues to appeal to the public for assistance in solving the case.
"This was a brutal and calculated attack on a professional woman in broad daylight. We believe that someone, somewhere, has crucial information that can help bring the perpetrators to justice," said SAPS spokesperson Colonel Adéle Myburgh.
The case is being handled by Lieutenant Colonel Patrick Murunwa of the Bojanala Sub-District 2 Detectives in Rustenburg.
