Major League action at Turfhall sports complex saw Kaylin Jaftha, a young Lavender Hill Softball Club player, shine on the field after years of dedication climbing from the second team to the first.

Despite fierce competition, Lavender Hill triumphed with a commanding 24-0 victory over Kenfac Phillies.

Kenfac Phillies pitcher Ester van der Heever delivered with determination, but it wasn’t enough to counter Lavender Hill’s Jadine Davids and her powerful swings.

The game, filled with passion, proved to be yet another win in the bag for coach Yvette Hiss’ Lavender Hill side, with coach Moses Molapa’s Kenfac Phillies going back to the drawing board to recoup for the upcoming weekends round of fixtures in Athlone.
