Harvest Trail Run brings scenic adventure to Stellenbosch

A trail runner enjoying the great outddoors in the Cape Winelands.

Runners and nature lovers, get ready... the Harvest Trail Run, presented by Sportsmans Warehouse, returns on Sunday February 23, at Morgenhof Wine Estate near Stellenbosch.

As the vineyards bustle with harvest activity, participants will have the exclusive opportunity to traverse stunning singletrack trails only open for special events.

Two distances are available: a 7km run starting at 8.15am, and an 11km run at 8am, with both routes taking runners deep into the valley, offering breathtaking views and a true escape into nature.

Pre-entries close tomorrow, Thursday February 20, with discounted rates of R170 for 7km and R190 for 11km, while children under 18 pay R65. Late entries will be available on race day at an additional fee.

Race timing (live for pre-entries) is managed by Amarider Trail Tag, and will be available for rent or purchase.

All finishers receive medals, and top runners stand a chance to win Sportsmans Warehouse vouchers, FALKE socks, and Morgenhof wines.

Expect a well-stocked refreshment station, recovery massages, and lucky draws. The Morgenhof wine tasting and restaurant will be open, making it the perfect day out for the whole family.
