Zimbabwean Scott Vincent cashes in at LIV Golf Korea with R12.9m payday

Zimbabwean Scott Vincent is making the most of his time on the LIV Golf tour, with a fifth-place finish at LIV Golf Korea over the weekend.

His solo fifth place ensured a cheque for $800,000 or R12.98m.

Vincent carded rounds of 65, 70, 67 and 69 to finish on nine-under for the week.

Chile’s Joaquin Niemann won the event on the first playoff hole, beating American Talor Gooch to the title. Niemann pocketed the first-place prize of $4m (R64.92m).

Vincent’s Impressive 2026 Season: Top-15 Finishes and Career Earnings Update

The 34-year-old Vincent is certainly making the most of the 2026 season, after losing his LIV Golf Tour card in 2024.

In fact, Vincent already has four other top-15 finishes to his name after eight events.

His earnings already stand at $3,552,333 (R57,67m) for the season, which sees him occupy 15th place on the money list.

After turning professional in 2015, Vincent has since played on the Sunshine Tour, DP World Tour, Japan Challenge Tour, and PGA Tour Canada before finding his groove with LIV Golf.

Vincent has three Japan Golf Tour wins, as well as two Asian Tour victories and one Japan Challenge Tour triumph to his name.

Before LIV Golf Korea, Vincent had made $11,292,400 (R183m) on the LIV Golf Tour, which places him 48th on the career earnings. He has now earned $ 12,092,400 (R196m).

Branden Grace is the top SA earner on LIV Golf in career earnings of $40,523,094 (R657,966) before LIV Golf Korea. Spain's Jon Rahm is still the top earner on the tour with a whopping $93,271,529 (R1,51bn) made since 2022.
