Organisers, FX1 Production and Media, released a statement explaining the cancellation, citing "circumstances beyond our control and several contributing factors arising as of recent, we have taken the decision to cancel the event until further notice".
The concert was meant to have been a collaboration between FX1 Production and Media and The Sharks.

They added that fans who purchased tickets will be refunded.
