American singer Normani reveals that Tyla is one of her top five artists on her 2024 Spotify Wrapped.

In an interview with Rolling Stone, the former Fifth Harmony member shared that South African “popiano” artist Tyla was one of her top artists this year on her Wrapped.

“I think she is such a superstar; I can clock a star when I see one. She just does it for me, and I’m really excited to see what she continues to do. I genuinely enjoyed her album. ‘Jump’ is one of my favorite songs,” she said.

She added that she’s seen Tyla giving her her flowers in an interview and would like to collaborate with her in the near future.

“I have to do something with her for sure, hopefully in the near future. Maybe we’ll make it happen in the new year. That would be really fun,” she said.

Last Wednesday, Spotify dropped their highly anticipated list of users' personalized recaps of their listening habits. “Spotify Wrapped” annually showcases listeners’ favorite and most streamed artists, songs, albums, and podcasts from throughout the year.

Normani’s nod comes full circle, as Tyla once shared in a podcast interview with Capital Xtra that while she was still starting out as an artist, she sent Normani a direct message (DM) that included a video of herself covering the American star's hit song “Wild Side.”
