That’s exactly what happened this past weekend when Chris Brown performed the unforgettable duet at FNB Stadium in Johannesburg. With over 90,000 fans in the crowd, the stadium echoed with voices belting out every word of the 2008 hit.
Even Jordin Sparks, who wasn’t physically there, felt the love all the way across the globe.
Taking to X, she posted: “I’ll never get over this. So many voices singing my song!! Appreciate him taking my voice all over the world! 🤍🤍.”
While Sparks was stunned, Mzansi was just doing what we’ve been doing since the song dropped — showing “No Air” the respect it deserves.
Written by a dream team of hitmakers, the song became a global sensation, peaking at No 3 on Billboard’s Hot 100 and selling over 3 million copies in the US.
It even bagged a Grammy nomination in 2009 for Best Pop Collaboration with Vocals.
