While all eyes are on the athletes performing at this year’s Olympic games in Paris, there are those who are just as curious about what happens behind the scenes.

From the cardboard beds to the goodie bags, athletes have been taking to TikTok to share what the accommodation is like in the Olympic Village.

They’ve even shared what the food is like in the dining hall.

Muslim Australian boxer Tina Rahimi took her fans on a tour of the dining hall including the halal section which one of her followers was asking about.

In a video that has garnered over four million views, Rahimi shows viewers what’s on offer in the food court.

“Everyone has been asking me about the halal options at the dining hall,” she says as she walks towards the area.

She first shows what the dining hall looks like from the outside before heading inside.

She mentions that there are salad bars on the outside of each cuisine.

There are different sections for different countries and shows what food they have on offer in the French section.

She then shows where athletes sit and have their meals before she steps into the halal section.

Inside the halal section, there are different types of meats. She opts for the grilled chicken and some salads.

The dining hall has 3200 seats and provides around 40,000 meals a day with a team of 200 employees preparing over 500 recipes.

There certainly appears to be a huge variety of food, with stations for pastas, grilled items, sides, and beverages.
