Sibuya Tented Camps is the last stop in what can only be described as a once-in-a-lifetime trip, which is marketed as The Incredible Journey. It’s an eight-day flying safari across some of the most beautiful and less explored parts of South Africa.

Flying in small aircraft from African Ramble Air Charters, the itinerary begins in George with a short flip over the Swartberg mountains to the Karoo town of Prince Albert. Two days are spent there at the African Relish cooking school (with side tours including cheese, wine and ghosts), then on to Mount Camdeboo Private Game Reserve, again for two nights and a luxury game experience. Next stop is the Addo Elephant Back Safaris and Lodge for something different for nights five and six. The trip to Sibuya (two nights) rounds off the adventure. - Saturday Star
